Mayanti is a host and journalist with Star TV who hosted the coveted ‘Champions Trophy’ in 2017 on Star Sports. She got her first break in sports broadcasting when she was roped in as guest anchor for a FIFA beach football event.

She has hosted many other sports tournaments too like ’Football Cafe’ on Zee Sports, 2010 FIFA World Cup on ESPN, 2010 Commonwealth Games, 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2014 Indian Super League and 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.

She was the anchor on Zee Sports for the Nehru Cup Football Tournament held at Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi and hosted sports news show, ‘Star Power’, on Star Sports One.
